Take a look below at some of the most common questions we receive, and answers to those. As always, feel free to contact us should you have any additional questions.

What is your office like?

Our newly remodeled office provides a state-of-the-art facility, digital x-rays, and appointment reminders via text and email.   We are certain we can help you achieve your dental goals and enjoy yourself while doing it.  In our office we love knowing our patients!  There is usually a good conversation and some laugher coming from different parts of our building.

Let us take care of you and your family’s oral health with our great staff!  We are a busy practice with two front desk staff, two hygienists, four assistants, a dental therapist and Dr. Hedstrom.  Our staff is the best, from our front desk staff who work with you to find the right appointment time and understand your insurance, to our friendly clinical staff who do their best to make you feel comfortable during every visit.

What are your office hours?

Our hours are:
Mon - Thurs 8:00am - 5:00pm
CLOSED Friday, Saturday & Sunday

Appointments can be made through email, online requests or by calling 218.387.2774

What insurance do you accept?

We file insurance with your carrier as a courtesy. We work with all insurance carriers and will be able to file any claim with your insurance carrier whether we are In-Network or Out-of Network.

We are In-Network with the following dental insurance plans:
  • Delta Dental PPO
  • Delta Dental Premier
  • Minnesota Health Care Programs
  • Cook County Sliding Scale
  • Cook County Oral Health Task Force
We also file insurance for out-of-network plans.  We have worked with almost every insurance plan in Cook County and will be able to answer any questions you might have, so please feel free to ask us about your insurance options when making your appointment.

What forms of payment do you take?

We accept cash and most major credit cards. We also accept payment by Citi Health Card, Care Credit, Flex Spending Accounts (FSA), and Health Savings Accounts (HSA).

We offer a bookkeeping discount of 5% for payment in full on the day of service.

We also work with our patients in setting up short term in-house payment options.  If you have any questions, we will be happy to talk with you about all our payment options.

Do I need to get X-rays from my previous dentist?

Yes. Please request your most recent X-rays from your previous dentist, prior to your first appointment with us. On our New Patients page, complete the Dental Records Request form, provide it to your previous dental office, and they should send us the X-rays directly.  We accept digital x-rays via email and can place them into your patient chart.

Please note, if the X-rays are not current or of diagnostic quality, we may need to take additional pictures of your teeth (which may incur charges accordingly).

For your convenience, please fill out the New Patient forms prior to your appointment.
