Come visit Grand Marais Family Dentistry and let our family care for yours!

Our bustling office began as just a dream when Rolf & Layne Lindquist moved their family to Grand Marais in 1988 and, with the help of friends and family converted the garage of their home into a small dental office.

In 2004, Rolf's daughter Alyssa joined the practice following graduation, and then took over the practice herself in 2008. Alyssa and her husband Jonathan took on the project of remodeling the original building into a modern, state of the art facility with all new equipment.  Together, they now run the office with a committed staff, some of whom have been around for nearly 25 years of growth and change.  Dr. Rolf recently retired in the winter of 2014, and Layne continues to work as a part-time hygienist.

Our office truly knows and cares about this community. Our priority is to make dental treatment accessible to everyone! We are always happy to bill any insurance, The Sawtooth Mountain Clinic offers a sliding fee scale that makes preventative care more affordable, and through our partnership with the North Shore Health Care Foundation there is now a sliding fee scale (the Oral Health Task Force) program providing dental work to all children in the county.
