Stephanie Best - Reception

Stephanie Best - Reception

Stephanie is our newest addition to the office. Born and raised in North Dakota, she received her degree in Applied Science from Brown College in Minneapolis. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys cheering for the Minnesota Twins and spending time with her boyfriend.


Layne Lindquist- Registered Dental Hygienist, Restorative Function

Layne Lindquist - Registered Dental Hygienist, Restorative Function

Layne received her Degree from Lake Superior College in Duluth in 2001. She was involved as one of the first graduating classes in a Restorative Function program from the University of Minnesota in 2002. Layne has been involved in all aspects of the office throughout the last 30 years. Outside of the office Layne enjoys knitting, sewing, sailing and spending time with her grandchildren.


Lisa Walton - Registered Dental Hygienist

Lisa Walton - Registered Dental Hygienist

Lisa received her Bachelor's Degree in social work at St. Catherine's in St. Paul, followed by a Dental Hygiene degree from Normandale Community College. She joined our team in August of 2008. Lisa strives to make her patients feel as comfortable as possible. In her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her two children, reading, writing, and playing the Clarinet.


Cathy Terry - Registered Dental Assistant

Cathy Terry - Registered Dental Assistant

Cathy graduated from Hibbing Community College with a degree in Dental Assisting. A native of International Falls, Cathy joined the office in August of 1997. Cathy and her husband, Dennis, have two adult children. She enjoys gardening and spending time with her family, which includes her cat Bailey.


Kristy Ekroot - Registered Dental Assistant

Kristy Ekroot - Registered Dental Assistant

Kristy graduated from Hibbing Community College with a degree in Dental Assisting. Kristy has been working at the office in nearly every role for the past twenty years. When not at work, Kristy enjoys camping, snowmobiling, and playing with her new grandson.


Karina Roth

Karina Roth

Karina has worked in the reception area of the office since 2010. She has been the house manager for her husband and 3 children for the last 10 years, but is now enjoying getting back into the paid work force. She also works as the primary musician at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, coordinates the lunch program at Great Expectations School and grows all the beautiful flowers and veggies for the GES plant sale every May.


Karina Roth

Jennye Ashcroft

Jennye just moved to Grand Marais with her daughter Esme in May of 2010. She has worked in retail for the last 15 years and so is enjoying the new challenge of learning about dentistry. Jenny also acts as a marketing and merchandising consultant for another business in town. She enjoys playing with Esme, writing, and is an expert shopper.
