Our bustling office began as just a dream when Rolf & Layne Lindquist moved their family to Grand Marais in 1988 and, with the help of friends and family converted the garage of their home into a small dental office.

Rolf’s daughter Alyssa joined the practice following her graduation in 2004, and then took over in 2008. She and her husband, Jonathan, have remodeled the original building into a modern, state of the art facility with all new equipment, and run the office with a committed staff, some of whom have been around for nearly 25 years of growth and change. Even Rolf and Layne, who retired in 2020, still pop in to say hello and deliver mail on a regular basis.

Our office truly knows and cares about this community. Our priority is to make dental treatment accessible to everyone, whether or not you have dental insurance. We partner with local services from the Sawtooth Mountain Clinic Sliding Fee Scale and the Oral Health Task Force Program.
